Please may I keep my job?
I said please. I'll even add a cherry on top. Promise to be a really good boy too if the government of the United States of America would allow me to keep the job I busted my butt for. I mean I really busted my arse to get to where I'm at. Back twenty seven years ago I married my beautiful bride and we started out with nothing. I can remember times when I had to walk ten miles one way to work just to put food on the table for my wife and son while she stayed at home and trimmed grass with scissors around trailers to help pay the rent. From there we as a couple went on to grow our own trucking business and along with that came all the sacrifices and hard work that it takes to be successful in any business venture.

Now I know that there are no guarantees in life. One pays their money and takes their chances with anything they choose to do in life. That is what the American dream is all about. But I'm afraid folks that our government is once again a little confused. Somehow they believe that all the hard work that not only my wife and I have put into building our dream, but those of millions of others Americans that have put in just as much as we have toward their dream should have all our hard work flushed down the drain. And that drain empties out in Mexico.

So once again it is time to stop building our dream and start defending our dream. It's time to go to the government web site and beg to keep your job. Yes that's right. They are once again trying to give American trucking jobs to Mexican drivers leaving us out in the cold. They are taxing us and representing them. So here is the link to submit your comments to help them figure out just who it is they are supposed to be representing in this deal. You know the people that voted for them in the first place. http://www.regulations.gov/#!submitComment;D=FMCSA-2011-0097-0031

Please, don't stop there. Write and call every government official that is connected to you and ask them to let you keep your job. Explain to them that they are supposed to be representing that American people. Ask them why it is you have to remind them of this fact. It seems a shame to me that we have to do this over and over again. As I understand it though, to fix this problem we are going to have to fix this country. We are going to have to bring our government back to the point to where it is once again for the American people. One small step at a time I guess.

Let Freedom Reign and Not the Government ....

I remember when we went thought that time of our lives ... and ... we are going through another hard time in our lives fighting to keep going ... but ...

If we all stand united some how ... some way ... even if it is just a phone call or a letter or an email ... fight for the freedom of the American Trucking Industry .... Fight against the Government takeover ... and fight to keep American jobs in and run by Americans ...

Not that I want Mexican's any harm, or any less prosperity ... but let the Government not take our jobs and give them away ... help keep American money in the hands of American small businesses and not give our taxes to help our government give our jobs away ...
