Today's Thoughts 4/18/11 There's A Bear Round Here Long lonely highways can really make a feller board. Lots of drivers know this. You finally get loaded around eight at night and they want the freight bumping the dock five hundred miles away by six the next morning. Lord only knows how many pots of coffee have been drunk by countless truck drivers over the years to make this happen. Of course there are other ways to stay awake. Some chat it up on the CB radio. In today's world we are more inclined to use the cell phone. But twenty odd years ago on a run I did quite often there was no one around to keep conversation with so I did the only thing one could do beyond caffeine to keep awake. I cranked the windows down to let the cool night air in and started to sing my favorite made up song that I made up all by myself. Today my wife decides I need to let the rest of the world in on my hidden talent. Being she's the boss, Hope you enjoy. There's A Bear Round Here

I'm making time. doing a hundred and three. Thinking that bear will never catch me I look in my mirror and what do I see. Pretty blue lights just a smiling at me .. There's a bear round here.
