Well... It seems like Petro and TA have decided to change their shower policy again. Let me see .... this is like the eighteenth time in as many months is seems .... Now ... if you do not have one of their special points card ... yo...ur fuel ticket will get you a shower for just 24 hours .... no more shower coupons that last seven days is what I was told today.
Maybe I'm getting this wrong .... but is the store trying to make a sale supposed to pander to the customer.... Every time I spend thirty minutes of my time to order yet another card that last about a week ....I just say the heck with it and use shower coupons. Now ... I only get 24 hours and the shower is lost....
Thats OK though .... these guys have all the right to run their business as they wish ... it's almost still a free country you know .... So that means that I get to factor that shower time into the cost of fueling and ease on down to a truck stop that understands how to treat a customer ..... personally .... I'm tired of getting treated like a piece of crap that has no other option ....
So once again ....I'm left to realize that I'm no one .... I have no power to explain to these people just how I feel because I really don't want to be told once again ... " Well if you don't like our policy ... go to the next truck stop" Because at the next truck stop .... they have the same line memorized for when the time comes to explain to them what you as the paying customer wants ....
I don't know about the rest of you.... but I miss the days where the business you were dealing with was small enough to actually want you business ... went out of the way to treat you like you were somebody ... they actually said thank you and have a nice day ....
So once again .... I will find myself buying stamps ..... and mailing copies of my fuel receipt to someone that probably won't care .... fuel receipts from the competition ..... stapled to the reason why that five hundred bill was not spent at their location just down the street .... will it do any good ??? well .... probably not .... but then again .... I have made a few see my point in the past .... made some very nice changes even in the law on a State level .... we'll see
